Personal Project: Gilded (2021)
A reimagining of a classic czechoslovakian film "The Princess with the Golden Star" (Princezna se zlatou hvězdou).

I wanted to refurbish the fairy tale while keeping mostly to the original plot. A young princess leaves her kingdom after her sickly father asks her to marry a wealthy prince in order to up keep the kingdom. Upset with his demands, she leaves comfort behind and sets out to a secluded village. The king is overthrown and held captive by the invading prince. The princess is tasked to find help by herself...
These were my first explorations of the princess character.

Not wanting to stray too far from her original feminine design I kept her very girlish but exchanged her naivety for friendly and unreserved curiosity.
